ASSEMBLY OF THE CHANUKAH AT THE WAILING WALL
On Thursday, December 10, 2020, the Hanukkah Party begins for the Jewish world. It lasts eight days starting on Thursday night and families come together for the festivities.
In Jerusalem, the Eternal Capital of Israel, next to the Kotel (Wailing Wall), they are mounting a huge bronze Menorah. Its weight is close to 100Kg (1Tn) and it measures approximately two meters wide by two meters high.
Its manufacture lasted seven months, as many as the days it took to create the world.
Jerusalem will shine as it shines every year, just as each house will light its candles to the beat of songs and blessings.
The Festival of the Luminaries is coming. Remember: candles are lit from right to left, starting with the "pilot" candle.
